We try and visit here at least once a month - because the food is mouth-wateringly good, Make sure you book as the restaurant is always busy. This was also our chosen Christmas Day lunch venue - so that must say something! Friendy and polite staff who give excellent service. Firmly recommended.

Excellent afternoon tea - we came here for a baby shower and they looked after us so well. The gluten free afternoon tea was exceptional, one of the best scones and home made cakes I’ve ever had!
Evening meal
The Lamb is consistently good. Service is excellent and the menus are comprehensive. The fish menu is recommended. There is a very good 'Locals' menu on Thursdays which is excellent value.

Amazing homemade ice cream. Staff very pleasant. Lots to choose from so difficult to decide what you want. So you have to return to choose a different one

First time there. Lovely, friendly service from Max :) Beef and chicken burgers were amazing. Lots of food for very good price! The place in general looks really nice, we are definitely coming back.
Excellent
Visited the Bear for the first time after several years. It has improved beyond measure! It felt cosy and inviting, staff were helpful and very welcoming. We were also able to bring our well behaved dog! The menu had some delicious and creative specials which we thoroughly enjoyed! We certainly will be back! Thank you.
French Evening
We went on the 14th March for special evening with set menu and lady singer who sang in French and also English very nice slightly a bit loud. The food was amazing as always cannot but recommend this restaurant if you enjoy very good food and superb service
Back again cos we love it
Came for a little birthday celebration and once again had a lovely meal with friends.
We love it here but have to say the wine is very expensive and as we love good wine with our meal perhaps we should cut out the wine which would make us cone at lit more often.
Great time though and we will return soon.
Great food
Our takeaway was delicious, red hot and on time. They are a little bit more expensive than others around Bognor but well worth every penny
