Review

We absolutely love coming here to church farm. I did think because the school holidays haven't started yet there wouldn't be as much atmosphere but I was so wrong; the funstars have been incredible (we love Jordan!) and all the staff have been so friendly and attentive. Special mention to Scott on archery coaching who is great with the kids and adults alike and remembered us from last year. Jake who works in the chip shop who, despite being the only member of staff working, being incredibly busy and faced with hostile customers remained very friendly and professional. The pool was clean and perfect for the weather- we have spent the majority of our time in the outdoor pool! Also thank you to linzi for our beautiful clean caravan! We got a last minute upgrade (59 long acre) and it's so modern and a lovely location, we have enjoyed picnics outside under the tree. Highly recommend! Our only gripe is breakfast at the mash and barrel. It's so strange, we eat dinner here most nights and it's beautiful, hot fresh food food however on the 3 occasions we have stayed at church farm we have always had an issue with the breakfasts. This week we attempted breakfast on the first morning. One of us ordered a bacon sandwich which arrived cold. It was sent back and replaced with another cold bacon sandwich! At this point we decided just to go for a croissant which was ok, but had been overheated to the point where it was a bit soggy in places so it was left half eaten. Considering there were only approximately 6 or 7 family's having breakfast that morning we were slightly disappointed, however it has not put us off; we just have breakfast elsewhere now and come back for dinner! Overall highly recommend church farm and will be returning next year!
